Inspired by a trip to Porto, I’ve begun developing a new collection of Kandinsky-inspired exterior mosaics designed for the front of the home. Walking through the city, I was captivated by the traditional azulejos—Portugal’s iconic decorative ceramic tiles that transform building façades into works of art.
This new series reimagines those Portuguese azulejo tiles through a contemporary lens. Drawing on the bold colour, movement, and abstraction of Kandinsky, these modern mosaic designs combine geometric rhythm with expressive pattern to create striking exterior wall art and house front mosaics.
Each piece is a bespoke mosaic installation, with each member of the household choosing their own colour combination. Created using durable materials suitable for outdoor use, these weather-resistant mosaics are ideal for adding personality, colour, and artistic impact to home exteriors, garden walls, and entranceways.
