I’m Felicity Ball, a professional mosaic artist and founder of Felicity Ball Mosaics, working from my studio in Bristol, UK. My journey began with a passion for colour, form, and texture and has grown into a career dedicated to creating unique, contemporary mosaic art. Every mosaic I create reflects a balance of the abstract and figurative, giving each piece its own rhythm, flow, and story.
Over the years, I’ve developed a distinctive style rooted in hand-cut precision and creative freedom. At Felicity Ball Mosaics, I work with ceramic and porcelain tiles to build intricate designs that are rich in depth and character, for both inside and out. Whether it's a bold centrepiece for a living space or a subtle feature for an outdoor wall, each mosaic is made with care, intention, and a strong sense of individuality.
Mosaic art allows me to explore movement, light, and natural shapes in a tactile, lasting medium. My work is often inspired by the world around me, gardens, water, and landscapes and I aim to translate that into pieces that bring warmth and beauty to any setting. From doorsteps to garden walls, every project is created with its location in mind and built to last.
My Approach to Mosaic Design
My work is all about connection between materials, shapes, and people. I cut every tile by hand, using ceramic and porcelain to craft bespoke art that is rich in detail and texture. Whether it’s a private commission or an exterior mosaic, I treat each project as a one-off designed to enhance and respond to its environment.

Inspired by the Natural World and Colours
Nature plays a big part in my work. I’m drawn to the colours, shapes, and movements found in plants, landscapes, and light. These influences often find their way into my mosaics, giving them an organic quality that complements both modern and traditional settings. Abstract art forms a key part of my portfolio. I enjoy working with a varied palette of colours and a wide range of shapes and sizes to create original, contemporary mosaic art that suits all spaces and styles.

I offer nationwide delivery for both private and public art commissions. I also provide regular photo updates as each mosaic comes to life in my studio.
