Wave mosaic made from a broken plate

I’m looking forward to making lots of new mosaics this year. I’ve made a great start with this kitchen mosaic of a bowl of fruit and vegetables, as a 60th birthday present for my sister-in-law’s new kitchen!
Keep checking back for all my new work – many thanks!
Keep in touch with the progress of my large marlin commission by reading all about it in my blog. Clients and followers are often interested in how a mosaic is made from beginning to end, and from time to time, I chart its progress in my blog. http://www.justmosaics.blogspot.co.uk
At the moment I am making a marlin mosaic along the lines of this one – see you over there!
Delighted to be able to show you the two sea themed floor panels I made a while ago, in situ.
The Houseboat has also won the South West RIBA award 2017 – click here to read all about it – www.solidspace.co.uk/projects/the-houseboat/
Happy Christmas and wishing you all a wonderful new year!
2017 is full of new projects and plans for Felicity Ball mosaics so do keep popping back to see what is happening. If you would like me to make you an original bespoke mosaic, which will give pleasure for years to come, please get in touch!
I enjoy writing in my blog as often as I can – it gives me a chance to give a bit of background to what I do and how I do it – do have a read here http://justmosaics.blogspot.co.uk – thanks.
I was asked to talk about my work and the upcoming BS9 Arts Trail on May 14th – 15th on BBC Radio Bristol today. A new experience for me, and a little nerve racking, but everyone was very friendly and I hope me and my fellow artist Debby Bird put our best feet forward! Here is the link if you fancy a listen – we are from 35mins to 49 mins – http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03rfgwp
The sea-themed mosaic floor panels are now finished and being installed in the new build in Dorset, Poole, UK. Here is a picture of them just before they left the studio – look out for a final picture during the coming months. The panels will be on the floor straight ahead, as you enter the house, a bit like a runner carpet, and measure 240cm x 80cm in total. They have been a joy to make, and I look forward to developing this side of my portfolio.
