Seascape mosaic for a bathroom
Really enjoyed making my first commission of 2021 – a 60cm x 40cm seascape mosaic for a client’s bathroom. Lovely to get this feedback too -‘A quick note to say a huge thank you for the gorgeous mosaic which is exactly what I hoped for – it’s absolutely beautiful and I love the way you’ve put the colours and different textures of tiles together. Although they look lovely in photos, pictures don’t do your pieces justice as you don’t get the sense of the depth of them, how they work with the light and the different levels of the tiles all working together.’
Latest mosaic commission leaping to its new home!
This is my latest commission – a mosaic frog splash back for a client’s new bathroom. It is made on cement board, using porcelain tiles and exterior grout. I seal it, and then paint the sides and back with weatherpoof paint for good measure.
